Cakes are generally covered in fondant icing but there are various other icings that you can choose from. They are then decorated with your choice of hand-crafted sugar flowers or cake topper. Flowers can be created to coordinate with bridal bouquets, fabric colour etc.
Fruit Cakes are baked approx. 6 weeks before the wedding day, this allows them time to mature and they will taste absolutely beautiful. Chocolate Mud Cakes (and other cakes) are made fresh 2-3 days before the wedding day so they are guaranteed to be fresh and moist.
Pricing
It is difficult to set up a price list for cakes as each one is individually made and they all vary so much. They are priced according to complexity, design and the time it takes to create the cake. As a guide, prices start from $280 for a 2 tier cake and from $360 for a 3 tier cake. Mini individual cakes are priced from $8.50 each. Cupcakes start from $3.80 each. Price is dependent on the amount of sugar flowers and/or piping on the cake. Kitchen cakes are also available.
Placing an Order
I recommend that you place your order three to four months before your wedding day (earlier for the busier times, around Sept and May). However there is always a chance that I can help you out, so feel free to contact me. When making a booking a 25% deposit is required to ensure your date is reserved. Balance of payment is due two weeks prior to your wedding date or event.
